Internship requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to be considered.
You must have a desire to eat grasshoppers...not really, but we would think you're cool.

Dates and Deadlines for 2012-2013

The intern program in Uganda is very flexible. It can range anywhere from 3-6 months. We want you to be there for at least three months in order to settle in, get over culture shock, and build genuine relationships with the people you will be working with.

Location

Internships will be based out of Jinja, Uganda and interns will live at the LGH Volunteer House.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for interns that are committed to stepping out of their comfort zone
(in many, many ways) and forming real relationships with Ugandans. Interns must be
self-motivated and independent.

Interns must have a strong desire to challenge themselves and have intense, dynamic
experiences. While there, they will play a crucial and integral part in pushing the Hope
Movement forward. We heavily rely on our volunteers and interns and consider them a vital
part of the LGH team!
